Grace Combiflex BENFITS
- A convenient single-component solution that is easy to apply, eliminating the need for mixing or heating and resulting in saved labor costs.
- Easily bridges minor cracks in concrete substrates, thanks to its elastomeric properties.
- Offers exceptional tensile strength and elongation capabilities.
- Demonstrates excellent adhesion to the substrate.
- Forms a highly elastic and rubber-like membrane upon curing.
- Capable of withstanding significant expansion, contraction, and deck movements.
- Highly resistant to oxidation, UV light, and ozone.
- Promotes non-cracking properties and extends the lifespan of the application.
- Provides superior resistance to peeling, chipping, and separation.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
- Effectively bridges small cracks that may develop in concrete substrates due to its elastomeric properties.
- Demonstrates exceptional tensile strength and elongation, ensuring durability and flexibility.
PRIMER COAT USAGE
- No primer coat is required before applying the Combiflex PK, simplifying the application process.
- In case of a dusty surface, a prime coat can be applied by diluting 75% Combiflex PK with 25% water. Allow the coat to dry before proceeding.
- Ensure proper application by applying two coats at a rate of 0.8-1 kg/m2, resulting in a total minimum thickness of 1.5 mm.
- Thoroughly stir the contents of the drum to eliminate any sediments.
- Apply the material in layers at room temperature, allowing a 24-hour interval between each application to achieve the desired thickness.
- For joints and detailed areas, apply a layer of mesh reinforcement while the first coat is still wet. If necessary, the mesh reinforcement can be applied throughout the entire application area.
- Allow a curing time of 24 hours.
